Ordinarily the word 'Incite' is used with negative
connotations, interestingly however, the etymology of
the word reveals another perspective. The word incite
actually comes from the Latin
incitare and means "to put into rapid
motion, urge, encourage, stimulate, move and excite" and
this is the style of leadership we subscribe to. That
said enjoy these 'inciteful' readings in the hope that they
'urge, encourage, stimulate and move' you into
implementing your leadership
strategies.

Sometimes I wonder what happened to
passion. Passionate living and a real zest for life
seems such a rare commodity these days. For so many life
seems something to be endured instead of delighted in.
The world is there to bask in. To squeeze every drop of
wonder and joy from. Make every effort to garner all you
can from life. Recently my dad passed away. This brought
home to me most strongly the brevity of life. He was
only 76. Seventy six years is such a brief time. This
morning I ran along the beach and watched with glee the
different flocks of birds diving for their food. I
watched the majestic pelicans soar just above the white
caps. I felt the scrunching sand beneath my bare feet,
the smell of the ocean and the sound of gentle rolling
waves. Life truly is a gift.
